Opdracht C : jit.playlist, jit.world, jit.gl.videoplane

Extend your patcher with some video playback / viewing options. Use jit.world and jit.gl.videoplane. Check the helpfile of these objects before you continue watching the lecture.

Now we are going to combine those 3 objects jit.playlist, jit.world and jit.gl.videoplane. jit.world and jit.gl.videoplane should have the same name (e.g. myWorld as in below.) Double click jit.world object to see what it is showing. Check the helpfile of jit.gl.videoplane to see the combination.

Opdracht E – a Potentiometer controlled video effect

Now we have a system to trigger videoplayback and we can turn on and of LEDS. Lets get some input into Max

1. Connect a potentiometer to an analog input on your Arduino.

1. Scale the readout values of the potentiometer to a range of 0.0 1.0

2. use vz.brcosr object, or find the Vizzie module on the left bar menu, V icon > Effects > BRCOSR (see below)

1. Connect the potentiometer data to one of the data inlets of the BRCOSR and try to manipulate the video playback.
